F1–F12 Hotkeys for Saved Messages on Windows

Save the messages you type every day to F1–F12 keys with Magic Toolbar’s Container Manager and bring them back with one key press on Windows.

What is an F1–F12 hotkey manager?

An F1–F12 hotkey manager saves text you type often and puts it on a function key. Press the key and the text appears, so you stop retyping greetings, fare rules, baggage notes and payment messages. Magic Toolbar does this with its Container Manager on Windows.

How to set up F1–F12 saved messages

Setup takes a few minutes. Start with the five messages you type most, give each one a key, and test it in the app where you usually write to passengers. Add more keys later as you notice which texts you repeat during the day.

  1. Open the Container Manager in Magic Toolbar.
  2. Add a text you type often, such as a greeting or baggage note.
  3. Give it a key from F1 to F12, or Shift plus a key.
  4. Sort your texts into groups, such as Greetings or Fare rules.
  5. Press the key to check the text appears, then back up your list.

What messages should a travel agent save?

Save text you send many times a day: greetings, payment reminders, baggage allowances, document checklists, fare rule summaries and closing lines. Keep each message short and approved by your agency. Do not store passenger passport numbers or other private data in general shortcuts.

Can I back up and move my hotkeys?

Yes. You can back up all your saved texts from the Container Manager and restore them later, for example on a new PC. Keep the backup somewhere safe, and update it after you add new messages so you never have to rebuild your list.
